Square two

Square Two...
Is done! Four more to go.
Though, I think there won't be much knitting time the rest of the day. Today, the Easthampton Fireworks are back! After a hiatus of a year, Williston has graciously (I say with sarcasm) let us townies traipse all over their field again...now that they have their brand new track taking up half of it, but whatever. I'm glad to see fireworks. Hopefully I'll be able to stay awake long enough.
But first, we have Abbie's graduation party. We'll see how that goes, but I'm bringing my knitting. Maybe I can get some of the Harry Potter scarf going. I don't have much time to complete those. I watched Goblet of Fire yesterday when I got home and I'm excited for the next movie and last book.

Today was good day

Today was a GOOD DAY....
So good in fact, I opened my Easter candy I was saving. A Godiva dark chocolate assortment...mmm...one piece. I like to save it, enjoy it slowly because it's so expensive.
But, yeah...today was a good day. :)

Focus as i was knitting last night i

Focus
As I was knitting last night, I kept getting more and more agitated. It wasn't the pattern, it wasn't the yarn...it was ME! I am so annoyed with myself for having unfinished projects it's starting to aggrivate me. I need to focus. Luckily, we are just around the corner from July. Where I will spend my weekends knitting and not socializing (so I think anyway!).

Mmm

Mmm...Boston
So, a little known fact about me...I love the Phantom Gourmet! It's a tv show about restaurants in the Boston area. For some reason, I just LOVE it (okay, maybe a slight obsession...my Saturday just isn't right, if I'm not watching the Phantom). They had a BBQ Beach Party at Boston's City Hall Plaza, so Ed and I took a day trip.

Change of plans flicker gift socks

Change of Plans
Flicker Gift Socks....not happening. I won't finish them in time, and I like them to much to give up. I know it's selfish of me, but they are (will be) beautiful. Plus, I'm missing a stitch...I know where it is, so I can go back and get it, but I'm too tired to work on it tonight (since I was working on it and missed the stitch a few rows ago). We're off to Boston tomorrow, and since I can't knit in the car, there's no knitting time, therefor, my excuses mean, the socks are MINE!

Longest day

Longest Day...
Growing up, my Dad always got excited about the longest day of the year...the first day of Summer. He is not a winter person...HATES IT. The first time white precipitation is forecast, he's depressed, and continues that way for the next 6 months or so. At least until he can see grass and take the golf clubs out again (also a cause for depression, but a different kind).

Teary eyed this was big weekend friday

Teary Eyed
This was a big weekend! Friday night was the Hackworth Recital. Maddie, Billy and Chelsea did a great job dancing.

Ta da against eds wishes im using

Ta-Da
Against Ed's wishes, I'm using the desktop (he doesn't know...yet). I'm also working on backing up all my files (fun....)

Almost there so polkadot is almost done

Almost There
Edit: Okay, no pictures today. They are taken...but...the desktop, where I keep all my pictures is having issues. First it forgot my password (yes, the computer did...I did not) and one of my RAID harddrives is failing. Ed's working on it. So, as soon as I can, there will be pictures!

So, Polkadot is almost done. The circle is done, I just have the sleeves. I'll post pictures tonight when I have a chance to take them.

So proud he actually did it

So Proud
He actually did it. Andy Haber graduated from high school!
Ed and I attended graduation on Friday night and it was....HOT. It had to have been close to 100 degrees in the gym, and I know it was hot on my graduation night, but Friday...was hotter!

Sheet

Sheet...
As I change my sheets, on a humid, uncomfortable day, where I haven't slept much, I can't help but think (in frustration) that they should start making bottom sheets that are a different color along the short bottom edge. This way, you don't get yourself tangled in your sheets trying to figure out which is the short side and which is the long side when everything is all elasticized and bunched up anyway!!! The only other solution is to make all beds perfectly square. Yeah, I know I could just get a bottom sheet you tuck in, but then it becomes untucked and looks MESSY!

Yeah.......

Ed's brother Andy graduated last night...more on the later. Just had to share my "brilliant" idea!

Finished 397x11sad and proclamation so
