So i dabbled in crochet this week

So, I dabbled in crochet this week. I don't usually like it, but I decided that it was something I wanted to do.
I decided to take on The Knot-Ugly Shrug in Stitch & Bitch: The Happy Hooker.
Well...I got gauge, and I was crocheting to the measurements from what I saw, but it came out way too big. Oh well, I turned it into a cropped weap sweater, and guess what, it didn't turn out that bad, and you get to see a picture of me, even though I'm not loving the picture.
Excuse the hair, I spent the afternoon in the pool :)

Eh...why bother...

So its been argh kind of week

So, it's been an "argh" kind of week...well, so far July has been kind of "argh."
I can't quite describe what "argh" is...but it combines EVERYTHING I'm feeling, whether good, bad, or neither, and that's what comes out.
And of course, I have to work on Saturday...I can already tell it isn't going to be good. Oh well, at least I'm done at 5:30, so it doesn't kill the whole day.

It looks better on a person, but the pictures of the shawl on me...not so great. They were either blurry or I looked really goofy. Oh well, this is the best you're going to get.
