The Time Goes Again

The cutest kindergartener ever!Today was Chelsea's first day of kindergarten, and this picture arrived in my email. I can't believe she's already in kindergarten. She's a December baby, so we had already passed the 5 mark, but that wasn't as traumatic for me as kindergarten!
Ed and I have been together for 6.5 years. His sister in law got pregnant with Chelsea a month after we started dating, and even though Andrea and I weren't close at all at the time, I KNEW on December 8th that Chelsea would be born. I don't know how I knew, I just knew. I spent A LOT of time babysitting her when she was younger.
Since I'm still not sure about the whole my-own-kids thing, I'm absolutely happy being Auntie (though Chelsea is very much looking forward to the wedding, so I will be her Aunt "for real!")
It seems she had a good time. She had Gym today.

Umm...I think I'll pass on the whole stretch marks, hemmeroids, and nausea thing. I do have that fear of vomit!

I hope she likes it too. I was not a fan of gym. Nevermind that we had to fight with the gym teachers because band and gym were the same period. I passed no problem, but it wasn't fun.
She takes dance classes and loves to run around outside, so hopefully she'll be okay.
Plus, you can't beat kindergarten gym...unless they've added that the the MCAS of course!

I hope she liked Gym...I failed gym many, many times for having year-round fake lady troubles! I'm sorry, gym is humiliating!

Ahhhh...they grow so fast...

maybe you should have one, just to see what the fuss is about. I think you'll totally love the stretch marks and the hemmhoroids. And the nausea. But I don't recommend just one, I think they do better in groups, and suggest a minimum of two. That way, when the littler one is eviscerating your favorite throw pillow, the big one can be taking out the trash which reminds you that they're not all bad. Or, in my case, vice-versa.
