Yay for Finishing
So, I finished two, yes two, projects in two days! It's a thrilling day here in my life.
First up, the test knitting...I'm not sure if it's secret or not, as the book isn't available yet, so I've blurred them to protect the innocent.They were knit at the same time on one circular needle. It took some getting used to the technique, but I think I really like it, especially for the heel and toe. It made SENSE, and I didn't have to remember which decrease when which way because I always started with the same on and ended with the same one. AND I had both socks finished...at the same time. They are pink Soft Sea Wool and have cables. I didn't love the yarn, but they were fun.

Second finished project is Anna's Hip House Scarf from Charmed Knits. We are Harry Potter fans in my house, and Anna wanted a special something for the Midnight Magic Barnes and Noble party she's going to, so I agreed to make this scarf (not the real version...this one made me want to poke my eyes out, nevermind rounds and rounds and rounds of stockinette stitch!)
Yeah...those are Lego Harry Potter figures....they are Anna's. I don't love the scarf, but it will do...makes a cute head scarf. It's Cascade 220 Superwash. Nice yarn, though we do have colors of Northampton that would have worked very nicely! (I wish we had had it when I bought this stuff)
I have pulled out Ed's crochet blanket that I started almost a year ago, and of course, I'm still plugging along on MS3...I'm off to work on that now.
And pout that the Mac is off being fixed (it keeps restarting itself...it's funny how one becomes attached to things...)
