Once again my best laid plans flew out

Once again, my best laid plans flew out the window...
There just aren't enough hours in the day.
Ed and I went to Manchester, NH to the TKGA show...it was interesting....
I had fabulous plans to work on Anna's scarf in the car. Now, I sometimes have issues knitting in the car, even in the front seat. I think it's because I have to pay attention. I had the great plan to take some less drowsy motion sickness medicine so I'd be able to knit in the car. It worked! Buuuttt, it wasn't less drowsy enough, and that, coupled with the fact that I just seem to have trouble staying awake in Ed's car period (must be the lack of noticable shifting or something), I fell asleep in on the way there. So, not much scarf done. I have until Friday afternoon.
While the show was....interesting....(pause....looks around), I did bring home some pretties.
Some Koigu KPPPM in P513 (I think...). It's really pretty. I walked by it about four times before I just had to give in! It came from Wool Basket Yarns, a shop in Duxbury.
Zephyr from A Touch of Twist out of Pattersonville, NY. In a pretty color that is very close to the shirt I was wearing...coincidentally Ed was also wearing a similar color. Clearly we spend far too much time together if we get dresses in two separate places and pick out similarly colored shirts! Anyway, it shall feed my increasing lace desire.
And finally, we have some hand dyed Louet Peal Sox Yarn in Tumbleweed from Oak Grove.
Another booth I walked by a couple times...saw this...walked away, and turned right back around to get it.
Also saw Webs of course, but didn't purchase anything...though I may have to buy some of Gail's Hand Dyed Belle in the next couple days :)
I fell asleep on the car ride home too...while listening to It's All Too Much. It's a very good book about clutter. I don't have much in the way of clutter (just yarn). Though I do have some "sentimental" stuff that I can probably get rid of. When I was in school (for as long as I have had my own room) every Summer, I would go through EVERYTHING. Take everything off my shelves, out of my drawers, and out from under my bed, go through it, organize it and throw things away. It would take me half a week or longer, but I always felt so good when I finished it. I'm planning on taking almost a week off in August, so I'm feeling like I need to devote a couple days to doing this again. I haven't done this in a couple years, and since I will eventually be moving out, and don't really have the desire to move the stuff I don't want from one place to another, I might as well get rid of it. Maybe it will only take me a day, so I can spend the rest of my time catching up on my knitting.
As far as knitting goes, the secret test knitting socks are going well and are almost done. Hope to finish time in the next couple days. I'm half way done with clue 2 of MS3. I'm LOVING it.
Here's a picture of it lazily pinned out. It's 2/14 Alpaca Silk in black and silver lined smokey amethyst seed beads.
