Teary Eyed
This was a big weekend! Friday night was the Hackworth Recital. Maddie, Billy and Chelsea did a great job dancing.
I must say that Hackworth does a great job with the recitals. They certainly know what they are doing. There were some great dancers. We stayed long enough to watch through the kids, and a little longer.
First up was Maddie and Billy. They did a great job (the pictures are a little blurry, but my camera was acting funny in the out-of-doors).
They danced to "The Muffin Man." It was very cute. We got is on video. Billy probably won't be dancing next year, but he really seemed to love it. He loves to boogie!
Next up was Chelsea (the little star). Her dance was called "Brahams Lullaby." It was ballet and she did a great job. All of the kids did great jobs.
No, I did not tell her to stand like that, she did that on her own...the whole time I was trying to make my camera work right (and I only got one "are you done yet?). Such a professional!
I finished Polkadot. She hasn't tried it on, but I'm pretty happy with it.
And yesterday, Chelsea graduated from preschool. She's off to kindergarten! I can't believe it. I have basically known her since she was born. Babysat her many many many times; watched her learn to walk, to talk, and now, move on to "big" school.
Yes, I did get teary eyed watching her walk down the center aisle and getting her diploma. I'm getting teary right now just thinking of it. I'm so proud of her.
