The Universe is Not Done Conspiring Against Me!
So, the planned outing to the movies to see Wild Hogs last night did not work out. We meant Chris and Shelley at Panera for some dinner. We then proceeded over to Cinemark to buy our tickets and meet Bill and Andrea.
No such luck. The show was sold out!! Who wants to see a show featuring middle aged actors (aside from us) like a month after it has come out?!? Not to mention the insane number of teenagers...not like 18 year olds either. We're talking barely teen, shouldn't be at the mall by themselves age. Granted, I was probably going to the mall alone with my friends at their age, but times have changed. Ten years is a long time, and don't even get me started on their outfits! One girl had on a super mini skirt and flip flops!! Mind you, it was pouring rain last night! Then there were the girls who thought yelling at boys was cool. God, I hope I was never like that. I also hope that Chelsea never acts like that!
Anyway, we decided to go back to Chris and Shelley's house and play games...didn't work out that way either. We all went over. Mikey was still awake, so we entertained him for a few minutes before Shelley brought him upstairs. Next thing we knew, Ed, Chris and Bill had made their way downstairs to play pool, so Andrea, Shelley and I sat in the living room and talked. About people, the wedding, etc.
It ended up being a fun night anyway.
Back to knitting....speaking of knitting, had to undo 9 rows on the sock for the store...wasn't happy...good thing I always have more than one project going :)
