SWTC Tofutsies with Chitin (shrimp and crab shells), which only slightly grosses me out. It's only like 2.5%, so I'm not super worried about it. It is a little thin, so it will be interesting to see what happens with gauge. I also couldn't decide on a color...finally I picked 722 Stand on Your Own Two Feet, because it has no pink in it. I love pink...everyone knows this, therefore expects it from me, so I decided to not be pink today :)
Ok, a little bit of catching up again!
The new testament of my bible came into the store the other day...tada!!!
I am super excited about it and can't wait to finish my two "store projects" and get my reward sock yarn that I promised myself and get knittin'.
I don't know why I all of a sudden have decided that socks were the way to go...probably because they are easy to carry around and even though you have to make two on teeny needles, they are generally pretty fast. If I were super skilled (and had a death wish) I would knit everyone socks for Christmas. I may still decide that it's a good idea, but if I gift to you, and you read this, I wouldn't count on it. I'd have to start now and knit nothing else from now until then, and we've already established that I am a knitting polygamist.
I did pick up a random ball of sock yarn, as a little treat...you know, just to get me through until I can get the other stuff (I think I'm addicted to buying yarn...I'd show you my stash, but it's getting slightly embarrassing, and I really don't think it would fit in one spot to photograph!)

And in extra special news, we have chosen a date: 10/10/2008. We will be having our reception at the Hotel Northampton...ceremony site TBD (this is a little tricky...more on that at a later date).
Just waiting for the snow to melt and ground to dry out so we can perc for the house.
We're supposed to do see Wild Hogs tonight with Chris and Shelley...I'll let you know how it was...not expecting much :)
