Knitting polygamist yes i have decided

Knitting Polygamist??

Yes, I have decided I am a knitting polygamist, and I'm only slightly ashamed.
Okay, I'm working on a project for the next catalog, and I think it may kill me. I love the yarn (Valley Yarns Southwick, pima cotton, bamboo - YUMMY-soft) and I generally like the pattern, but I just don't want to do it. It's like when I was in school and was REQUIRED to read a book. Ev en if it were a book I enjoyed, I didn't WANT to read it because I HAD to. Ridiculous I know, but it's just how I work.
So, to keep complete frustration at bay, I have also picked up a sock for the store in Fiesta Ballet, another new yarn. It's a pretty alpaca/tencel blend. I don't totally love alpaca, since it's often pokey, and I don't love pokiness. I'll be interested to see how they come out. It's also a Fiesta pattern with a different heel technique than I do, so that will be interesting.

Here is a picture of my inability to be monogomous in my knitting life...let's not even discuss how many projects I have sitting on the needles. It has seriously gotten to the point where I have to just suck it up and finish my stupid projects or go out and by new needles!!
If I showed you how many unfinished projects I have, I would seriously have to go hide in a cave because it has gotten out of hand. I think I should make a deal with myself to finish them all before I move out. I mean, I've started stuff for Chelsea, and I don't think it would even fit her now, so I don't know what I will even do with it.
Ugh, maybe instead of buying a crap-ton of sock yarn after I finish this project, I should force myself to do some finishing. Mheh, that sounds like a whole lot of not fun.
Back to the Southwick project for me....
