Hello all, Happy 4th of July.
I have issues with the 4th which I will not get into, because it makes me too sad.
Anyway, how 'bout them fireworks...you know, the ones Easthampton didn't have because Williston decided to tear up most of their fields. That's right people, I've got it figured out. I walk by them almost every day, and I invite all of you to talk a walk, or ride of some sort down Taft Ave. and take a look at the mud, dust covering every house on the street, and all of the heavy equipment. I think you'll be hard pressed to tell me that that is not why Williston decided not to let the town use the field to have the fireworks. See, they pretend to be all appreciative to Easthampton, and some of those kids seen to have some Easthamptonites fooled because they help with community events, but if you think they are doing that because they WANT to, you are sorely mistaken. They could care less about Easthampton and you can tell that when they just walk out into the middle of the road without looking to see if any cars are coming and then looking at you like you are a piece of dirt.
Anyway, enough of the Williston rant. I am working on a shawl for the store and it is coming along quite well. There shall be pictures when I am done.
