So, I finished Chelsea's tank top in plenty of time to give it to her for her recital.
Here it is:
It is actually a Berroco pattern, which suprisingly was not scary to look at! I also even made it out of the specified yarn, Berroco Touche. It is really nice stuff. I like it much better than I thought I would (since I have a cotton aversion...if only I could get gauge with the darn stuff!) And even better, it's machine washable (always a plus).
It's a nice purple/pink color. It was only a little bit big for her, and no I did not think to actually take a picture of her in it. That would have made too much sense.
There's crochet on this too. It turns out, I don't dislike crochet nearly as much as I thought I did, I just need more practice. But who has time to crochet when there's barely enough time to knit!
Of course now I have nothing really to do...well, I have lots of yarn, and tons of projects that I can do, but nothing I really feel like doing.
I started a scarf, but ripped it out today because I didn't really like the way it was coming out. Plus, it's not like I need a scarf any time soon, even if it is just for decoration.
I'm trying to come up with a project to do with Longmeadow, but I'm still not exactly sure what I want to do with it...I have a few ideas, but I think I'm nervous about trying them. I might as well just bite the bullet, what's the worst that's going to happen, I lose the yarn?? It's not like I don't know where to get more :)
